Onboarding is by invitation. Email hello@heydao.app or send your venue details on this page. We contact you and send an invitation, and you complete onboarding and verification in the Heydao app.

A photo of your Canadian business licence; your venue’s official phone number; applicant details (name, position and relationship to the business); and, optionally, your provincial business registration number. We check your registration in the relevant provincial public registry (for example, OrgBook BC in British Columbia) and verify by calling the venue’s publicly listed official number.

Our team reviews each application and will contact you once the review is complete, or sooner if we need more information.

Once onboarded, create the offer in the merchant portal in the Heydao app with its details and conditions. It goes live after review, and people can choose it when they create a gathering at your venue.

Promotional placements are arranged with our team by a written order signed outside the App, which sets the period, placement and fees; placements cannot be bought or paid for in the App. Any service fee for group-buy offers follows our written agreement with you. Customers show their redemption code, and you enter the six-digit code or scan it in the merchant portal. Heydao does not collect payment on your behalf; customers pay you at the venue. Records, statements and invoices are in the merchant portal; any fees are invoiced on the agreed cycle and settled by bank transfer.

Yes. Either party may end the partnership with 30 days’ written notice, including by email, unless otherwise agreed. During the notice period you cannot create new offers, and published offers remain valid and redeemable. After termination, we issue a final statement in the merchant portal.
