Community Guidelines
Be real, respectful and reliable
Represent your identity, age, city, and intentions honestly. Respect consent, boundaries, time and privacy. Do not impersonate, harass, threaten, discriminate, deceive, pressure participation or repeatedly fail to attend confirmed plans.
Whoever posts a gathering acts in a personal capacity and is not an agent, employee or representative of Heydao, nor a professional event organizer. Describe the activity, time, city and anything physically demanding, costly or carrying injury risk accurately and completely; do not switch it into a different activity, and do not use a gathering to promote, recruit or solicit money; state the meeting place clearly and stay reachable; if you need to cancel, tell participants as soon as possible. The host and each participant are responsible for their own conduct.
Safety first
For first meetings, prefer public places, tell someone you trust and use available check-ins, emergency contacts and opt-in location sharing. Platform tools cannot guarantee that anyone is safe; in real-world danger, contact local emergency services first.
Do not publish home addresses, identity documents, financial information, precise location, or another person’s information without consent. Do not pressure people you meet through Heydao into closed, high-pressure, or hard-to-leave situations.
Minors and sexual content (zero tolerance)
Heydao is not a dating platform and not an adult platform. Nude or sexually explicit content is not allowed anywhere on the platform.
Any sexual content involving minors — including AI-generated, drawn or written — is zero tolerance: we block it immediately and route it to urgent human review; cases confirmed by our safety team result in a permanent ban and reporting to NCMEC / Cybertip as required. If we learn that a user is under 18, we remove the account.
Sexual misconduct is zero tolerance, whether on the platform (messages, profiles, stories, comments) or offline in connection with a platform activity — including sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual coercion, stalking and indecent exposure.
Sharing, or threatening to share, someone’s intimate images without consent (sextortion / NCII) is zero tolerance. If you are the person depicted, use the priority removal channel: report in the App, or email report@heydao.app with the subject “NCII Removal”. Good-faith reporters are not penalized for reporting, or for necessarily preserving evidence.
Mental health and crisis
Sharing your own lived experience is welcome, but glorifying, encouraging or instructing self-harm, suicide or eating disorders — or using self-harm to coerce someone — is prohibited. If we believe someone is in imminent danger, we may contact emergency services or relevant authorities.
If you or someone you know is struggling, please get help. Find A Helpline (findahelpline.com) lists helplines verified by the organisations themselves across 175+ countries. Some lines you can call directly: US/Canada 988, Singapore SOS 1767, Malaysia Befrienders +603-7627 2929. These lines are operated independently by third parties and may change; in an emergency, rely on your local official emergency number.
Money and transactions
Heydao does not currently process user-to-user payments, deposits, registration fees, tickets, refunds, or guarantees. Any cost-sharing, venue payment, or other offline payment arrangement between users is decided by those users and at their own risk. Do not prepay, do not pay deposits to strangers, and do not treat a transfer as a condition for joining. Report requests for advance transfers, reimbursement scams, investment, loans, or suspicious goods.
Prohibited content and conduct
Child sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual violence, trafficking, scams, unlawful commerce, weapons or drug dealing, hateful attacks, serious violent threats, doxxing, spam marketing, manipulation, enforcement evasion, organizing illegal activity, impersonating officials/merchants/schools/community admins, and conduct that may create real-world danger are prohibited. Politically sensitive content is handled under Heydao’s global moderation standard.
Good-faith reporting, help-seeking, recovery, news, education, or safety warnings are not violations merely because they mention dangerous topics; but solicitation, trading, instructions, funneling, or glorification under those contexts may still be actioned.
One account per person. Do not create additional or replacement accounts to evade a ban, a feature restriction or a reputation penalty.
Do not investigate, track, bait or publicly expose someone you suspect of wrongdoing — it can harm innocent people, break the law and interfere with our review. Use the report function and let us handle it.
Reporting, blocking, and appeals
Users can report, block, and appeal restrictions or bans through the App. Depending on severity, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts. For privacy and safety reasons, reporters usually will not receive detailed enforcement outcomes about the reported account.
The reporting tools are covered by these guidelines too: filing false or retaliatory reports is not allowed, and we may restrict accounts that do so repeatedly.
